I don’t want this to sound like a post of privilege, though I realize it has the inherent danger of doing so.<\/p>\n

I don’t even want this to be a long post.<\/p>\n

I just want to say, for the sake of recording my truth(s), how much I enjoy spending time with people whose general life and world perspectives are similar to mine.<\/p>\n

This doesn’t mean I’m unaware of the filter bubble.<\/a>\u00a0Nor does it mean I’m avoiding it. (Truthfully, I routinely keep some people in my Twitter and FB feeds who I totes disagree with for this very<\/strong> reason.)<\/p>\n

What it does mean, though, is that I appreciate and enjoy the outright FUN and pleasure I have when I spend time with people who share my perspectives. This is natural and normal, I’m sure. I want to also clarify that it doesn’t mean we agree on every single thing<\/strong> in the whole ridiculous world, because honestly I don’t think that’s even possible. It just means that when I get to spend time with these special people, I have a really good time.<\/p>\n
