Sometimes, when you are talking with someone, you get a sense of what they’re like when you’re not around.<\/p>\n

You can just tell.<\/p>\n

You can visualize it, hear it, feel it… “it” being the experience of what life in their world is like. <\/p>\n

Sometimes when people say one thing, they often do another. Saving face. Putting up a good front. Trying to fit in.<\/p>\n

But sometimes, it doesn’t matter what they say, really. The subtext<\/strong> of what they’re saying is clear enough<\/a>. It’s all there, laid bare on the floor, and they don’t even realize it<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Sometimes, you can just tell. <\/p>\n

The ankle is feeling slightly better. Anti-inflammatory meds are helping with that, but they also make me sleepy. Thank you to those of you who sent me kind words.
