I’m all about using reflection — it’s a huge part of the learning process.\u00a0 But when my course content says this:<\/p>\n

…<\/em> I gotta admit, I’m thinking:\u00a0 For real?<\/em><\/font><\/p>\n

The AtL that I am using are the same ones I have honed over years of being a student and a teacher.\u00a0 I’m managing my time. I’m meeting deadlines.\u00a0 I’m reading.\u00a0 I’m using IT.\u00a0 I’m doing research.\u00a0 I’m reflecting.\u00a0 Isn’t there some kind of assumption that I know how to do these things already, considering I have made it this far as a teacher, and as a professional — 10 years’ experience, two degrees, and lots of students who are learning?\u00a0 How does planning<\/em> impact me as a learner?\u00a0 Um.\u00a0 If I don’t plan, I don’t usually get things done.\u00a0 It’s really<\/strong> that simple.<\/p>\n

Am I missing something here?\u00a0 Is it not this obvious to other people?\u00a0 I mean, seriously. For real?<\/p>\n
